At Little Jogs Day nursery, our aim is to help all our children acquire the skills, confidence and positive self image to be happy, healthy and confident young children.
Nursery Playrooms
The Nursery is divided into separate areas for each age range. Within each room, activities are balanced between group and individual play, noisy and quiet activities, structured and free-choice. All activities are designed to ensure that children have fun whilst learning.
OFSTED Registered
We are an OFSTED registered Nursery and Pre-school and have always received good inspection reports in all areas. The nursery adopts the early years foundation stage principles. These are split into four themes: A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments and Learning and Development. The nursery is also registered to accept the Nursery education Grant for 3 to 4 year-olds.
Healthy, Balanced Food
All the food at Little Jogs is freshly prepared, by our trained cook. She has experience of cooking for children with allergies; if your child has any special dietary requirements, we can meet their needs in a delicious, healthy way
Adventure Garden
Children have easy access to the garden from each nursery room. Our large adventure garden provides a stimulating and fun outdoor environment with large circuit for bikes, cars and scooters. There is an artificial pond with wooden boats plus garage, airport, hanger, climbing frame and slide, all surrounded by mature trees.
