The baby room is stimulating, brightly decorated and designed for children aged 3 months to 18 months old. There is also light and airy sleep room where babies are checked regularly whilst sleeping. The baby room open onto an enclosed area of the nursery garden where they can safely play..
Activities
The routine for younger babies includes regular sleep and feeding times, as they grow this expand to scheduled time dedicated to free play. Older babies have a more structured day which includes periods engaged in a range of different activities: sand, water, painting and outdoor play. All children’s work is displayed on the walls. We have good variety of toys appropriate for all ages.
Keyworker Responsibilities
Each member of staff has a special responsibility for a maximum of three babies. This keyworker approach ensures that both babies and parents establish a relationship with an individual Nursery Nurse. We offer two free settling-in periods before your baby joins Little Jogs.
Daily Records
Each child has its own individual daily record as well as its own learning journeys where we capture the highlights of the time they spend with us so that parents can keep track of their child’s progress.
